Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TymitHub you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the authority to bind the organisation you represent (if applicable), and that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the platform after any change to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

TymitHub is a meeting recording, transcription, and minutes-generation platform. It allows authorised organisers to record meetings, automatically transcribe audio, and produce AI-drafted minutes that can be reviewed, approved, and archived. The platform is offered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) with optional self-hosted infrastructure components (Enterprise plan). TymitHub reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

Account & Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@tymithub.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each account is personal and may not be shared. Organisation accounts are managed by an appointed administrator who is responsible for all users under that account.
• You may not create accounts using automated methods or for the purpose of disrupting the service.
• TymitHub may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

Acceptable Use

• You may not use TymitHub to record conversations without the consent of all participants, where required by applicable law.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of TymitHub.
• You may not resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to TymitHub without written permission.
• You may not use TymitHub to store or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• You may not use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair TymitHub's infrastructure or interfere with other users.
• Automated scraping or bulk data extraction via unofficial means is prohibited.

Subscription & Payment

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) from the date of subscription activation.
• All prices are shown exclusive of VAT. Applicable taxes will be added at checkout based on your billing country.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rata refund is issued for the unused portion.
• Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 14 days from initial purchase.
• TymitHub may change plan pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Failed payments will result in a grace period of 7 days, after which your account may be downgraded to the Free plan and data access may be restricted.

Data & Privacy

Our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy-policy) explains how we collect and process personal data. You remain the data controller for any personal data of your meeting participants. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from participants before recording. You grant TymitHub a limited licence to process your meeting content solely to provide the service. We do not use your meeting content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Intellectual Property

TymitHub and its underlying technology, trademarks, and trade dress are owned by TymitHub and protected by Portuguese and international intellectual property law. You retain full ownership of the content you upload or generate through the platform (recordings, transcripts, minutes). You grant TymitHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content to the extent necessary to operate the service. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of TymitHub's technology to you.

Limitation of Liability

TymitHub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcription accuracy will meet any specific standard. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TymitHub's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to TymitHub in the twelve months preceding the claim. In no event shall TymitHub be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. TymitHub may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access poses a security or legal risk. After account deletion, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) shall survive.

Changes to Terms

TymitHub may update these Terms at any time. For material changes — those that significantly affect your rights or obligations — we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Non-material changes (such as clarifications or formatting updates) may take effect immediately upon publication. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this page.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
